Fellow is an AI study assistant for Ontario university students in engineering. This page explains what we collect, why, who handles it, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted. Send questions or requests to: hi@askfellowai.com.
What the waitlist form collects
Your email address, and, only if you choose to answer, your university, program and year of study. Each of those three is optional.
We use them to confirm your spot, to write to you when Fellow opens at your school, and to see which schools and programs to open at first.
Where it is stored and who processes it
We use trusted service providers to run the site, store your information securely, and send you email — we do not sell or share it for marketing. Each new signup also notifies our team internally so we know someone joined.
Our site runs cookieless analytics: it records pages visited, referrer, and coarse device information, never your email.
If you create a Fellow account
We store your profile, the course outlines you upload, the course details read from them, and your chat history. To answer you and read your outlines, your questions and uploaded documents are processed by an AI model. Creating an account also notifies our team internally.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until you ask us to delete them — nothing is removed automatically. Account data is kept while your account exists.
Access and deletion
Email hi@askfellowai.com from the address you signed up with to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We will remove it from our systems and confirm when done. You can also withdraw consent to hear from us at any time the same way.
Fellow is based in Ontario and handles personal information in line with Canada's PIPEDA. Your data is processed by the providers above, some of which are located outside Canada.
